Shrewsbury/Worcester – The Worcester Division of Public Health announced this morning that the Health Advisory issued for Lake Quinsigamond has been lifted, effective immediately. Results from the July 3 water quality sampling have indicated that the water quality levels have returned to normal.
“All samples obtained from Lake Quinsigamond indicate that the water has returned to acceptable water quality standards,” said Michael P. Hirsh, MD, acting commissioner of Public Health. “We are happy to report that the Division of Public Health is lifting the advisory and encouraging the public to resume normal activities in the area.
