Westborough – Proving that it is never too late to get active, Martha Raphael, 70, a resident of Westborough, participated in the Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Race to Cure ALS held at Hopkinton High School June 15. Not only did she finish the event in just under 49 minutes, she came in first in the 70+ age group.
Raphael noted that she is thankful to her trainer Julie, of Westborough's Get In Shape for Women, for her support and encouragement. Now that she has completed her first 5K, she is looking forward to participating in future events.
