Marlborough – Sandra J. (O’Leary) Murdock, 73, died Tuesday morning, July 16, 2013 after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Myron Murdock, who died in 2010.? They were married for 47 years.
She was born in Concord, the daughter of the late Robert and Rita (Lesage) O’Leary, and lived in Marlborough most of her life.
Mrs. Murdock worked as a waitress at the Sunshine Dairy in her younger years and then went on to work over 30 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center.
She is survived by three sons, Scott Murdock of Northbridge, Michael Murdock of Marlborough, and Robert Murdock of Georgia; one sister, Susan Vaillancourt of Marlborough; four grandchildren, Samantha, Kayla, Christopher, and Ashley; two great-grandchildren; Lillian and Sophia; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday, July 21, from 1 to 4 p.m.
