Two charged in connection with Westborough robberies

W police carWestborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this afternoon:

On August 11th, the Westborough Police received a report of 3 different breaks into apartments at the Park Village Apartments which are located at 135 E. Main St. Numerous pieces of jewelry were stolen in the breaks.

Working in conjunction with the Marlborough Police, Det. Steven Tompkins was able to identify two suspects in the breaks. Adam Schofield, age 25 of 31 Gibbon St. Marlborough was interviewed and has been charged with three counts of breaking and entering a dwelling and larceny. He will be arraigned in WDC at a later date. Shanna Hall, age 35 of 135 E. Main St. Westborough was interviewed and has been charged with receiving stolen property.

Det. Tompkins has been able to identify the pawn shop where the stolen property was sold. Attempts to retrieve the property are under way.
