Northborough – The Northborough Moms and Tots and Northborough Helping Hands Association, Inc.'s sixth annual Backpack and School Supplies Drive was another huge success for the 2013-2014 school year. The team was able to donate 96 backpacks to students in need in the Northborough Public Schools to start the new school year.
The drive's success each year can be attributed to the outstanding community support. The following businesses, organizations, and individuals made it possible for the goal of the drive to be met:?Central One Credit Union, Children's Dentistry of Northborough, Hodge Associates, Inc., Jennifer MacNeil Photography, LePetite Studio Photography, Lincoln Street School, Marlborough Savings Bank -Northborough, Northborough House of Pizza, Northborough Church of Christ?Bible School, Northborough Junior Woman's Club, Rotary Club of Northborough, St. Rose of Lima, Wegmans – Northborough, the Biddle family, Nancy Boren, Campbell family, Cashin family, Collins family, John Domack & Mary Robinson-Dumack, Jocelyn Ehrhardt, Fokema family, Foster family, Edward & Diane Guldner, Nicole Green, Carrie Harding, Chris and Pam Hodge, Hoosen family, Kent family, LaRosa family, Timothy & Lori Mayo, Michalik family, Nolan family, Oeklers family, Ostberg family, Rice family, Rutan family, Santella family, Stine family, Susanin family, Tucker family, Walsh family, and Michael & Eleanor Zelnick.
Organizers would also like to thank members of Northborough Moms and Tots and Northborough Helping Hands and community members who participated in fundraisers, including the Spring Cookie Tray Sale and?mini photo shoots sponsored by Nicole LeBlanc, LePetite Studio Photography, and Jennifer MacNeil Photography.
In addition to teaming up with Northborough Moms and Tots for the backpack drive, Northborough Helping Hands has a medical equipment loan program, holiday outreach program and emergency funds to help those in need. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 383, Northborough, MA 01532.
