Shrewsbury loses to strong Nashoba team

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury High School Colonials played host to the Nashoba Regional High School Chieftains on Sept. 20. ?Nashoba scored the only points in the first quarter on a run by Eli Williams (point-after by Casey Elkins). ?Shrewsbury's Nick Dilberto ran it in for a touchdown in the second quarter (point-after by Kris Swedberg) but Nashoba's Frankie Chiodo scored a running touchdown (point-after by Elkins) for a 14-Chieftains lead at the half.

In the third quarter, neither team scored. Eli Williams got his second touchdown (run) late in the fourth quarter (point-after by Elkins) for a final score of 21-7, Chieftans. The win was the 28th straight for Nashoba.
