Northborough – The Applefest Bake Off was held at the Northborough Senior Center Sept. 20 as part of the town's Applefest celebration. Judges tasted treats made by residents that had apples included in them. Carleen McKinstry won first place for her entry of Apple Bars with Caramel and Pecans.
