Edmond F. Melican, 85

Obit Edmond F. MelicanNorthborough – Edmond F. Melican, of Northborough, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013.

He was born Sept. 22, 1928 in Worcester, the son of Edmond F. and Teresa (Kelley) Melican Sr. He lived in North Grafton for many years and in Northborough since 1956. He graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and Worcester Junior College.

Mr. Melican was a Field Service Engineer for Reliance Electric Company of Cleveland, Ohio, for many years and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, World War II.

He leaves his wife, Lorraine (O”Neill) Melican; a brother, Robert Melican; and many nieces and nephews. Another brother, David Melican, predeceased him.

There are no calling hours, and after cremation, burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, at the family's convenience. Arrangements are under the care of Hays Funeral Home of Northborough.
