Westborough police report multiple break-ins

W police carWestborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon issued this statement this morning:

In the last three weeks, the Westborough Police Department has investigated three separate daytime house breaks. The first one occurred on Ruggles St. in the area of Eli Whitney St. The second break was on Eli Whitney St. a week later. Yesterday a call was received reporting a break on Fisher St. in the area of the T station. In all of the breaks mostly jewelry was taken. The first two breaks were by kicking in a door. Yesterday's break occurred when the suspect opened a window with an air conditioner in it. The Westborough Police are asking all residents to call the station if they see anyone suspicious in their neighborhood.
