Ski Ward to hold 75th anniversary celebration

ski ward rsShrewsbury – Ski Ward Ski Area has been operating since 1939 making it one of the oldest ski areas in Massachusetts. On Saturday, Feb. 1, it will hold a special 75th anniversary celebration featuring special events all day and night long.

The day will feature a visit from the L.L. Bean Bootmobile, a rail jam, a torchlight parade and a fireworks display. ?Also included on the itinerary are a Season Passholder Appreciation BBQ; appetizer specials at the Slopeside; wine and beer Tastings?and entertainment by guitarist and vocalist Adam Rice.
