Westborough – Daniel J. St. Jean, 62, of Westborough, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare – University Hospital in Worcester. He was the husband of Lynn V. (Wheelock) St. Jean.

Born in Milford, he is the son of Priscilla (Zeni) St. Jean of Cape Coral, Fla. and the late Norman St. Jean. He was raised and educated in Northborough schools and during the late 1960s served with the U.S. Navy.

Dan was employed for 29 years as a ready mount operator at Bay State Abrasives. In later years, he worked in the receiving department at Wal-Mart in Northborough.

He was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and was a member of the former Northborough Fish and Game Club. He also enjoyed hunting and camping.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two brothers, Alan St. Jean and his wife Paula of Northborough and Barry St. Jean and his wife Patty of Woonsocket, R.I.; three sisters, Pamela Pisello and her husband George of Florida, Michelle Ear and her husband Joseph of Florida, and Debra Jakaitis and her husband Daniel of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son-in-law of the late Ronald Wheelock.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 13, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 4 – 7 p.m., at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough.
