Obit Alan J. LynchClinton – Alan J. Lynch, 28, of Clinton and formerly of Marlborough, died Thursday Feb. 27, 2014 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center.

He was born in Worcester and raised in Marlborough and Clinton, the son of Dorothy J. (Vezeau) Lynch of Clinton and the late Harry C. Lynch, and was a graduate of Clinton High School.

Alan worked at The Manor Restaurant in West Boylston, The Grill on the Hill in Worcester, and Price Chopper. In his free time, he loved playing computer games and collecting Super Mario memorabilia. He was an avid Boston sports fan.

Alan will be deeply missed by those who lives he touched. The family would like to thank the staff at Marlborough Hills and Brookhaven hospice for their excellent care and support, not only for Alan, but his family also.

Besides his mother, Dorothy, he leaves his sister, Ashley J. Lynch of Clinton; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Vezeau of Clinton; his godfather, Thomas Kurbs of Marlborough and godmother Erika Mahon of Derry, N.H.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, and extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, March 5, at 7 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Calling hours will be held Wednesday prior to the service, from 5-7 p.m., in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the funeral home to assist Alan's family with funeral expenses.
