Marlborough – Roger E. Frye, 73, of Marlborough, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane L. (Moore) Frye of Marlborough.
Roger was born in Concord, son of the late Harry and Grace (Carr) Frye. He was raised in Hudson, where he attended local schools and had been a longtime resident of Marlborough.
He was employed by the Hudson Lock Company in Hudson for many years. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing miniature golf with his family friends. He was a member of the First Church in Marlborough.
Roger always looked forward to spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughter most recently. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, and friend.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children, Edmund R. Frye of Marlborough and Jennifer A. Dennis and her husband Dale of Hudson. He also leaves his loving granddaughter, Tia.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 11, at 1:00 p.m., in Brookside Cemetery, Gleasondale Road (Route 62), Stow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.
