Northborough police seek three in Lyman Street break-in

Northborough- The Northborough Police Department released this statement this evening:

On 03/19/14 at approximately 1611 hours the Northborough Police Department responded to a breaking and entering into a building on 55 Lyman Street.? Three teenage/early twenties white males were observed inside the building by an employee who chased them out of the building.

One was described as wearing a grey sweatshirt, another was described as wearing a red sweatshirt, and the third was wearing a brown or black sweatshirt.? All were described as wearing black or dark shorts.? The suspects were last seen headed toward the railroad tracks.

Northborough Police responded, checked the area, identified and interviewed potential witnesses and determined a probable route of travel of the suspects when fleeing the scene.? Marlborough Police Officer Kenneth McKenzie and his canine tracking dog “Kaiser” assisted in the search, establishing a track and probable route.

Images of the suspects were obtained by on site CCTV.? Detectives responded to the scene and processed it for fingerprints.? It is believed this incident may be related to recent larcenies at this business.? The investigation is ongoing during which leads will be pursued by Officer Prizio and Detective Noel.? Anyone with information which may assist in the investigation or anyone who may have seen suspects fitting this description in the area during the above approximate time frame is encouraged to call the Northborough Police at 508-393-1515.
