Hudson – Moses M. Rozal, 88, of Hudson, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of the late Juan and Clara (Akiu) Rozal and the husband of the late, Elfriede M. (Beck) Rozal, who died in 1994.
Mr. Rozal retired from the U.S. Army in 1965, after serving 21 years in active Federal service. He later was employed in the shipping department at Middlesex Research, retiring after 23 years.
He lived his life in the true spirit of Aloha – welcoming and happy and always with good intentions from the heart.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan M. and William S. Fischer of Marlborough; his grandchildren, Tina Sternick and her husband Jeffrey; his grandson, William J. Fischer; his great-grandchildren, Sophie and Noah Sternick; and many friends, including his dear friend and neighbor, Maryalice McCormack and her family and his much loved family/O’hana in Hawaii. He was also the father of the late Capt. George M. Rozal, who died in 1988.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 24 at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough.Burial will be held at the National Cemetery of Bourne at a later date.
