Obit Leslie PupaHudson – Leslie Catherine (Hescock) Pupa, 66, of Hudson, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, surrounded by family.

Leslie was born in Norwood, daughter of the late Dorothy (Gregory) Hescock and the late Paul Hescock. She graduated from Natick High Scholl in 1965 and Butera School of Art in Boston in 1969.

Leslie loved her daughters beyond measure, and she cherished spending time with her parents and siblings. She was a talented artist and avid reader, and enjoyed trips to the beach, going on walks, and caring for her cats.

She leaves her sister, Jill Lavash of Hopedale, and her brothers, Gregory Hescock of Ashland and David Hescock of St. Johnsbury, Vt. She also leaves her three daughters and their families, Heather and Michael Nanartowich, and their children Riley and Owen; Jennifer and Todd Wallingford, and their children Marley and Rudy; and Danielle and Jeff Wood, and their children Emma and Jackson. She was predeceased by an infant son, Robert Paul.

Family and friends may attend calling hours Tuesday, April 1, from 5 – 8 p.m., at Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Her funeral service and burial in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pleasantries, a day program and counseling service for adults with Alzheimer's and other dementia. Pleasantries is located at 195 Reservoir St., Marlborough, MA 01752.
