Hudson – Maureen E. Sharon, 75, of Hudson, died Friday, April 4, 2014 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough.

Maureen was born in Marlborough, daughter of the late Leonard and Audrey (Woodard) Sharon. She was raised in Hudson and was a 1956 graduate of Saint Michael's Academy in Hudson. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Framingham State College in 1960.

She began a long career as a teacher in the Berlin Public School System and was a member of the Massachusetts Teacher's Association. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia Karvoski of Hudson; her two nephews, Scott Porter and his wife Diana of Hudson and Craig Porter of Yakima, Wa.; and her great-niece, Meagan Porter of Hudson. She is also survived by her great-great-niece Ava Porter of Hudson.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 10, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 9, from 4 – 6 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.
