Northborough- On April 4, the Northborough Education Foundation (NEF) hosted its fifth annual Quiz?Night at Cyprian Keyes in Boylston. Teams of four arrived in a variety of creative costumes, from zombies and Mozarts to dodgeball teams and Monopoly pieces. Competing in a six-round?trivia competition, teams were tested in their knowledge of sports, pop culture, math, history, politics?and music.

In addition to raising more than $3,000 – which will be awarded in NEF grants to the Northborough Schools and community – the event was great fun for all those who participated.

“Quiz night is a great opportunity to get creative with a?costume, test your intellect and be reminded of how much you have forgotten, never?learned or can’t quite recall. And all for a good cause,” said Liz Nasser, a Northborough resident and three-time Quiz Night participant.

Marile Borden concurs: “I don’t know if I’m smarter than a fourth grader, but I think I had more useless knowledge than a few principals that night!”

Quiz Night Winners: Team "Let's Look it Up" (l to r) Deborah Hersh, Marjorie Femia, NEF President Jack Kane, Ellen Church and Vin Femia.
