Car breaks reported in Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Police Department issued a statement this afternoon informing residents of recent breaking and entering of motor vehicles that have occurred recently:

Car breaks occurred on April 22nd 2014 (Tuesday) and April 28th 2014 (Monday) between the hours 2 A.M. and 5 A.M. Every vehicle that was entered was unlocked and the only items stolen were paper money and loose change. The residential streets where the B&E's occurred were Edgewater Ave., South Quinsigamond Ave., Ridgeland Road, Wingate Street, Plainfield Ave., Fairlawn Circle, Gordon Road, Sias Ave., Rolfe Ave. and Roman Drive, all in Shrewsbury.

Shrewsbury residents are asked to please lock all car doors, remove all valuables from vehicles, and leave an outdoor light on. Shrewsbury Police are asking that you call if you see or hear anything suspicious, please call 911 right away. Investigating the B&E's is Officer Timothy Charland of the Shrewsbury Police who can be called with any information at 508-845-1212.
