Obit Sarah StudleyNorthborough – Sarah “Sally” Brownlie Studley, 92, formerly of South Yarmouth and Jackson, N.H., died peacefully Monday, April 28, 2014 at Whitney Place in Northborough. Her husband, Kenneth H. Studley, predeceased her in 2001.

She leaves behind three daughters, Laurie Renaud of Nova Scotia, Denise Studley of Hudson, and Miriam “Mimi” Studley of Bend, Oregon; five granddaughters, Allison O”Leary Dion, Courtney O”Leary-Lima, Sarah Renaud Brown, Colette Renaud Dedrick, and Kyle Adrienne Pribish; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, and raised in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret (Smith) Brownlie. She proudly served her country in the Marine Corps during World War II.

Sally was an avid skier of many years and loved to ski the mountains of New Hampshire. Along with her husband Ken, she travelled abroad and loved the many road trips to Alaska in their VW bus.

A private graveside service will be at a later date in South Yarmouth.
