Shrewsbury – Incumbents Maurice DePalo and Henry Fitzgerald have won their bids for re-election to the Board of Selectmen. DePalo received 2,899 votes and ?Fitzgerald received 2,841 votes. The third candidate in the race, Benjamin Tartaglia, received 1,223 votes.
Incumbent School Committee members Sandra Fryc and John Samia also won their bids for re-election with 2,565 and 2,829 votes respectively. A third candidate, John Martin, received 1,182 votes.
According to Town Clerk Sandra Wright, of the town's 22,715 registered voters, 4,097 votes were cast (18.04 percent).
