Obit Eleanor StanleyMarlborough – Eleanor (LeDuc) Stanley, 86, of Marlborough, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center.

Born in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ellen (Riley) LeDuc, and the wife of Leonard Stanley of Marlborough. A graduate of St. Mary's High School, Waltham, class of 1944, she moved to Marlborough in 1965.

She had been employed as a secretary for Snap on Tools in Marlborough, until retiring in 1986.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish of Marlborough, a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary 638 of Marlborough, and a member of the Hopkinton Senior Center and the Northborough Bowling League. She also volunteered at the Marlborough Senior Center, providing Meals on Wheels, working in the kitchen, and helping at Bingo. She also enjoyed camping, and crocheting.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Wayne Stanley and his wife Rosemary of Marlborough; her daughter, Judith West and her husband Richard of Charlton; her sister, Jeanne McElligot of Nashua, N.H.; and her grandchildren, Christine Antczak, Wayne Stanley Jr., and Breanna, Peter and Jonathan Stanley. She was also the sister of the late Joseph and Henry LeDuc and Marie Patricia Collins, and the grandmother of the late Jason West.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 6, from 2-5 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough.?A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 7, at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough
