Westborough – R. Charles Boone, 67, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Westborough and Northborough, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 in Florida. Charlie was a member of the Westborough Police Department for 33 years prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Riley, and step father, William Riley of New Hampshire; three children, Connie Boone of Clinton, Charlie Boone of Marlborough, and Ashley Boone of Ft. Myers; two step-children, Angela Elliot of Texas and Alyssa Daniels of Rye, N.H.; and four brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
