Marlborough volunteer completes incident command training
Marlborough – First Lieutenant Eric C. Sigillo of Marlborough successfully completed three days of instruction provided by the Massachusetts Emergency Management Association (MEMA).
Training provided Sigillo the knowledge and capability to implement the incident management process, develop incident action plans and an understanding of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) command and management component in support of expanding incidents.
Sigillo is a liaison officers and volunteers with the Massachusetts State Defense Force headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base.
The Massachusetts State Defense Force serves to augment the Massachusetts National Guard (MANG).
