In a quest to raise funds for its organization, the city’s Community Development Authority (CDA) is seeking to sell certain parcels of land within the city. The agency is struggling financially and is rapidly running out of operating capital.
So far, the CDA has put two small parcels of land up for sale and is hoping to also sell some of the smaller parking lots it owns. Currently, several of those lots are in use by small businesses. As such, CDA officials feel that the most likely purchasers would be the businesses themselves.
