Shrewsbury- Over 1,200 people entered to win an opportunity to get in the “Cash Wind Machine” sponsored by Central One Federal Credit Union at the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival Town Expo Sept. 27. Four lucky people were chosen to try their hand at grabbing cash in the wind machine.
The first winner, Michael Hale, the general manager of Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations, (SELCO) donated his winnings to Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services. The other winners, Anchal Gupre, Nadine Huseby and Ryan Moss each won an average of $185. The bank gave away, in total, close to $750.
Central One officials noted that they would like to thank all who participated and that they look forward to the Spirit of Shrewsbury in 2015.
