Hudson – Corinne Marie (Hebert) Walcott, 97, a longtime resident of Hudson, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of 33 years to the late Marshall Albert Walcott, who died in 1991.

Corinne was born in Orono, Maine, daughter of the late Dennis A. and Annee (Hashey) Hebert. She was raised in Canada and resided in Marlborough prior to moving to Hudson in 1950.

She worked as a shoe stitcher for the former Diamond Shoe Co. in Marlborough and later worked for Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard as an inventory controller until retiring in 1982.

She was a member, past president, and past secretary of the Hudson Eagles Auxiliary, and also an active member of the Hudson Senior Center, where she taught ceramics classes, volunteered at the blood pressure clinic, and served as the treasurer for the Friends of the Hudson Seniors.

Corinne was an avid gardener in her spare time and always looked forward to spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, John C. Rodenhiser Jr. and his wife Ann Hurd of Bolton, and was predeceased by her son, Charles W. Rodenhiser. She also leaves six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial services will follow in Maplewood Cemetery of Marlborough. Family and friends may attend calling hours Monday, Oct. 20, from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
