Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Hudson – Edna F. Nordheim, 86, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 after a brief period of failing health.

She was born in Newton, the daughter of the late Frank C. and Anna May (Palmer) Nordheim, and lived in Marlborough and Hudson since moving here in 1968.

Ms. Nordheim was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving 10 years from 1949-1959. After her return from the military she went to work as a paralegal for the law firm of Seder and Chandler in Worcester for over 30 years until her retirement.

She is survived by one sister, Connie Harris of Marlborough; one brother, Henry Nordheim of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough. Burial will be at a later date.
