Hudson – Marie C. (Golden) Kerins, 89, of Hudson, formerly of Waltham, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Ralph E. Kerins of Hudson.

Marie was born and raised in Waltham, daughter of the late John A. and Catherine J. (Nolan) Golden. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Waltham High School.

She was employed by the former Grover-Cronin Department Store in Waltham for many years until her retirement.

She had resided in Hudson since 1964, and was a member of the Hudson Garden Club. She was also a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson and a member and one of the 26 founders of the O.A.R. (Organization of the Assabet River).

Besides her husband, she is survived by her brother, Neil Golden of New Hampshire, and was the sister-in law to the late Marcellini and Marjorie Cusano of Waltham. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Ann Marie Snelling of Virginia, Michael Cusano of Lowell, Marci Cusano of Waltham, David Cusano of Waltham, Raymond Cusano of Florida, Joseph Cusano of Ayer, and John Golden of Andover.

Marie’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Marlborough Hills for their kind and compassionate care of Marie.

Family and friends may attend a calling hour Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 9:45-10:45 a.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will immediately follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery of Waltham.
