Shrewsbury – Help Shrewsbury Crossings and the Worcester County Food Bank create a hunger-free community this Thanksgiving! For the month of November, donations can be dropped off at Shrewsbury Crossings between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. as part of its Thanksgiving food drive. Suggested items include cereal, rice, and beans; soup, stew, and chili; dry and canned pasta; macaroni and cheese; canned fruits and vegetables; canned tuna and chicken; and peanut butter and jelly. Low sodium and low sugar food items are appreciated. Food items in glass containers, including baby food, will not be accepted.
