Marlborough – Mary Theresa (Halligan) Quinlan, 85, a longtime Marlborough resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014. She was born Feb. 4, 1929 to Mary J. and William H. Halligan in Boston. In 1955 she married the late Robert F. Quinlan.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Theresa M. of Petaluma, Calif., Leo P. of Marlborough, Michael K. of North Andover, and William M. of Gainesville, Fla. She is also survived by her sisters, Janet MacLeod of Groton and Rita Murphy of Randolph, as well as eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Robert F. Quinlan Jr.

Her funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough, followed by burial in Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury. Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 24, from 5-8 p.m., at the William R. & Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough.
