Bemus Point, N.Y. – Raymond E. Phaneuf, 75, of Bemus Point, N.Y., died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at home with this loving wife of 29 years, Susan, by his side.

He was born in Westborough to Edward J. Phaneuf and Joyce McAvoy Phaneuf. He attended Northeastern University, Boston.

Raymond was past president of National City Bank of Cleveland, Ohio, and also a past president of Howland and Andover.

He was an avid and excellent golfer, and was past member of Trumbull Country Club, Bronzwood Golf Club, Oakland Beach Golf Club, and Andover Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; three sisters, JoAnn (Norman) Boyer, of No. Eastham, Cape Cod, Kathy (Gordon) Rowe, of No. Grafton, and Patty (Mehrdad) Dokhanchy of Lafayette, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Michael.

It was Raymond’s wish that burial would be private. Arrangements were handled by the Hubbert Funeral Home in Jamestown, N.Y.
