Hudson – Edward J. Benoit Jr., 56, of Hudson, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 at Marlborough Hospital.
Edward was born and raised in Hudson, son of the late Edward J. Benoit Sr. and Doris J. (Kincaid) Benoit. He attended local schools and was a 1976 graduate of Hudson High School.
Edward spent many years as a cook for several local restaurants and was a lifelong resident of Hudson. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his two sisters, Terri Wood and her husband Rick of Hudson and Joanne Colcord and her husband Steve of Marlborough, and his brother, Don Benoit of Keene, N.H. He also leaves his many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend calling hours Sunday, Dec. 7, from 1-3 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Services and burial at Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson will be held privately at a later date.
