Westborough – Lorraine M. Sowa, 85, of Westborough, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Chester J. Sowa.
Born in Westborough, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Velina (Paul) Lundberg and was educated in Westborough schools.
Lorraine was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, a homemaker dedicated to her home and entire family, and had been a lifelong resident of Westborough.
She is survived by her five children, Sharon A. Montalbano and her husband Andrew of Westborough, Nancy M. Fallon and her husband Paul of Westborough, Francis M. Sowa of Westborough, Sandra J. Norris and her husband Michael of Dover, N.H., and Ellen L. Sowa and her partner Leslie Chambers of Grafton; one brother, Robert M. Lundberg Jr.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Sowa, and her grandson, Greg Montalbano.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 20, at 12 p.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 19, from 3-7 p.m., at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St.
