Hudson – Mary A. (Conway) Zina, 92, of Hudson, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of 65 years of the late Joseph M. Zina, who died in April 2014.
Mary was born in Marlborough, daughter of the late James and Agnes (Rodgers) Conway. She was raised in Hudson, where she resided all her life.
She worked for the former Thomas Taylor & Sons Co. of Hudson for many years until her retirement.
Mary had many interests in her spare time and always looked forward to assisting her husband Joe with the gardening around their home. She truly cherished spending time with her family and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her two sons, John Zina and Joseph Zina, both of Hudson. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Sarah Conway, in 2006.
A funeral service and celebration of Mary’s life will be held Friday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours Thursday, Dec. 18, from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
