Oxford – Robert “Bob” W. Freeman, 48, of Oxford and formerly of Southborough, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at his home after being stricken ill.

Bob was a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough and earned a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University. He was a system analyst for Jacobs Technology of Bedford for a number of years.

Bob had a love for music and played guitar for the band Time Bandits, which plays in local venues.

He is survived by his father, John H. Freeman and his wife Mary of Centerville; a brother, John E. Freeman of Franklin; two nephews, Matthew and Joshua Freeman; and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Anne (Huether) Freeman, who passed away in 2003.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, Dec. 19, from 4-7 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. The funeral and burial will be private.
