Marlborough High students collecting clothing for children in need

Marlborough – The Fashion Club at Marlborough High School (MHS) will be conducting a gently used clothing drive to benefit Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit organization which helps to provide clothing and essentials to children in need. The items in most need are girls’ and boys’ tops and bottoms, pajamas, winter hats and gloves, winter boots, markers, crayons, school supplies, activity books and coloring books.

The club will be collecting items during regular school days at the high school as well as during MHS home basketball games (JV, freshman and varsity) throughout the month of January. Boys’ basketball home game are Tuesday, Jan. 6, Friday, Jan. 9, and Tuesday, Jan. 20. Freshman games begin at 4 p.m.; JV games begin at 5:30 p.m.; and varsity games start at 7 p.m.
