Region – Simple Church of Grafton has added an additional service on Fridays at 5 p.m. beginning Jan. 16, at our new winter season venue at the Congregational Church of Grafton, 30 Grafton Common. The Thursday evening service at 7 p.m. will also be held at the Congregational Church.
Simple Church services would include preparing the food together within a liturgical context, a candle lighting ceremony and a blessing for the food, followed by the meal and a small sermon meant to stir discussion. There will be music, but not necessarily traditional hymns.
While affiliated with the Methodist Church, Simple Church is open to all including those who have felt marginalized by traditional religions, with the emphasis on full welcome into the spirit community of Simple Church.
