Letter to the Editor: Thank you from Rep. Naughton

42

Dear Editor,

This week the Legislature began the 189th Session of the General Court by welcoming new members as well as our new Governor Baker. We enter the new session coming off of an exciting year that brought momentous success and achievements throughout our community. Together we successfully lowered the unemployment rate, increased local aid funding for crucial services and programs, and recommitted our efforts to invest in and improve education. We also secured $1 million in state funding for the construction of sound barriers along route I-290 and took a firm united stance against the proposed Kinder Morgan pipeline project.

In addition to these achievements, one of the most fulfilling events in 2014 for me was winning my re-election campaign for State Representative. It is because of your support, hard work, and participation that we were able to run a campaign based on performance and a proven record. Words cannot express my gratitude for giving me the honor of continuing to serve as your State Representative. I have the utmost confidence that we can continue to make tremendous strides at every level within our community and improve the quality of life for every resident and family. As we enter 2015, I look forward to working with each of you and encourage you to contact my office at any time with questions or concerns, (978) 365-1955.

State Representative Harold Naughton, Jr.

200 High Street, Clinton
