Westborough – Sharon A. Shirley, 73, of Westborough, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Russell Kelpin and Adaline (Leach) Demerritt, and was educated in Westborough schools. She graduated from Wilfred Academy of Cosmetology and also attended Fisher Junior College and Northeastern University.
Sharon was employed as an accounting financial administrator and also worked for temp agencies in many varying capacities. She was a member of the Fifth Chapter Motorcycle Club, serving as the club secretary, and chairman of Northeast Coast Board of Directors. She was a member of the Westborough Historical Society and the Northborough Art Guild.
Sharon is survived by her three children, Lenette LeBlanc and her husband John of Harrisville, R.I., Darrin Caracciolo of Northborough, and Wayne Caracciolo of Westborough; five grandchildren, Joshua, Tabatha, Nicholas, Jarod and Andrew; and one great-grandchild, Bella.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, at 12 p.m., in the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery of Hopkinton. A calling hour will be held from 11 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral service.
