Hudson – Johanna “Hanni” (Michel) Vincent, 67, of Hudson, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Marlborough Hospital.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Gerald D. Vincent of Hudson, and two daughters, Michelle S. Roach and her husband Peter of Hudson and Patricia Faust and her husband Marco of Germany. She is also survived by her 11 loving grandchildren; her adoring great-granddaughter; her sister, Edeltraud Michel of Germany; her three brothers, Manfred, Peter, and Paul Michel, all of Germany; and many nieces and nephews.

Hanni was raised in Zweibreucken, Germany, daughter of the late Hans and Erna (Giessen) Michel. She met her husband Gerald in Germany while he was stationed there as a member of the U.S. Army. She immigrated to the United States in 1969 and had been residing in Hudson since 1979. She took great pride in the care of their home and raising her family. She enjoyed her frequent nights out playing bingo with friends and liked reading in her spare time.

Hanni enjoyed spending time with her family and especially cherished the precious and memorable times she shared with her loving grandchildren and her adoring great-granddaughter. She will be fondly remembered and truly missed by all.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, from 6-8 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com). A graveside service will be held in Forestvale Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
