Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury High School (SHS) Alumni Association announced that they will once again offer two scholarships to Shrewsbury High School students.
The SHS Alumni Association Scholarship recognizes a high school senior who has made positive contributions to SHS through good citizenship and participation in extracurricular life. Preference will be given to applicants who have relatives who have graduated from SHS or Major Howard Beal Memorial High School.
The Kitty Viscardi Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior who has been an active member of the SHS Speech and Debate Team during high school. The scholarship seeks to honor a student whose involvement on the team embodies Viscardi’s dedication as well as her conviction that the greatest rewards come from simply participating.
