Obit Susan SullivanNorthborough – Susan E. (Armstrong) Sullivan, 51, passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, surrounded by friends and family, after a long battle with breast cancer.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years, Christopher Sullivan, and beloved daughter Amanda June Sullivan, both of Northborough.

Susan was raised in Northborough, the daughter of the late William Robert Armstrong and June E. Armstrong. She graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in 1982 and earned a B.S. degree at Worcester State University. She was a land surveyor by trade and former owner of Inland Survey Company in Stow.

She contributed to The Landmark Forum, bringing positive and permanent shifts in the quality of people’s lives. She was a well-respected Introduction Leader and a Head Coach of the Leadership Program at Landmark since 2008.

Susan had a great sense of humor, was light hearted and curious about life. She approached it with a positive, confident manner and was known as a master problem solver. She loved people and was well liked by all. She continually looked for ways to help and inspire those around her. Her innate spirituality saw her through life’s challenges. In her spare time she was a fiercely competitive game player.

Sue will be missed.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, from 12-3 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the name of The Susan Sullivan Scholarship Fund to the Patrice M. Cox Foundation, 828 Roberts Rd., Watertown, TN 37184.
