Worcester – The Worcester Sharks, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the National Hockey League’s San Jose Sharks, have announced its “A Tribute to Our Fans” promotional schedule. Highlights will include an appearance by New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler, the chance for fans to have their picture taken with the Boston Red Sox 2013 World Series Championship Trophy, and much more as the team ends not only its regular season play but its tenure in Worcester.
Fans are invited to cheer on the Sharks as they push toward a playoff spot in their last season as the hometown team at the DCU Center. The Worcester team is relocating to San Jose to be closer to its parent team.

March 20 – Warm up jersey auction presented by Fairway Mortgage to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation.
Every Saturday Night will include a celebrity appearance or a giveaway. (Saturday Night Signings at all four Saturday games presented by Bay State Savings Bank).
March 21 – NE Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler will sign autographs from 5-7 p.m. Butler’s appearance is presented by ScrubaDub.
The Boys’ and Girls’ Massachusetts High School All-Star Games will be held that afternoon and presented by Aleppo Shriners. Doors open at 1:15 p.m.
March 28 – Worcester Hockey Alumni game featuring the return of Terry Virtue and other former players from the IceCats and the Sharks will be held, along with a commemorative t-shirt giveaway. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
April 11 – Fan Appreciation Night versus the Providence Bruins. Fans are invited to take a picture with the Boston Red Sox 2013 World Series Championship Trophy.
There will also be a postgame performance by the Andy Needham Band on Faith and Family Night. And the annual Guns ‘N’ Hoses Game will be held before the game, with door opening at 3:45 p.m.

March 29 – Fans are invited to hang out with several mascots at Finz’s birthday party, which will have a Star Wars theme. Kids Club members will have a special signing with the mascots.
April 12 – Pucks and Paws Game will be held in partnership with Holden Veterinarian Clinic – fans may bring a dog to the game.
April 19 – Fan Appreciation Day will be held with the Boston Bruins Alumni doubleheader to benefit Why Me/Sherry’s House of Worcester. There will be a commemorative movie poster giveaway featuring the previous nine movie poster giveaways.
This will be the last chance to catch a regular season Sharks game at the DCU Center. Doors open at 12 p.m. with a Fan Fest before the game.
