Obit Ron DelibertisNorthborough – Ronald A. DeLibertis, a 50-year resident of Northborough, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, with family by his side, at Marlborough Hills Health Care after a long illness. He was 84.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 57 years, Sylvene (Kitchings) DeLibertis; his loving children, Richard DeLibertis of Northborough and Dianne White and her husband William of Port Orange, Fla.; his granddaughter, his pride and joy, Morgan Magnussen of Northborough; his brother, Ernest DeLibertis of Worcester; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Manfred DeLibertis.

Born in Fitchburg and raised in Worcester, he was the son of Manfred and Rena (Marion) DeLibertis. He was a proud Air Force veteran who served his country during the Korean War.

Ron worked as a foreman at Wyman-Gordon in Grafton for 20 years until his retirement in 1993. Prior to that, he was employed as a design draftsman for Curtis and Marble Co. in Worcester. A highly mechanically inclined individual, he was known for tinkering with most anything that needed to be fixed.

Ron was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of American Legion Post #234 of Northborough.

A private funeral with military honors will be held in Hays Funeral Home, with burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
