Shrewsbury – Susan E. (Evans) Giovanelli, 69, of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Sunday, March 22, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, in St. Vincent Hospital.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 26 Years, Angelo R. Giovanelli; a sister, Carol Evans Surabian of Rutland and Marco Island, Fla.; two brothers, Jay W. Evans of Rutland and Richard J. Evans of Worcester; and several nephews and nieces.
Susan was born in Worcester, daughter of Raymond B. and Edith C. (Ekeroth) Evans, and had been a longtime Shrewsbury resident. She was a graduate of Commerce High School.
Susan worked as an adjuster for the Unum Insurance Company for many years before she retired. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
There are no calling hours, and burial in St. John’s Cemetery will be held privately. The Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel of Worcester is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
