Hudson – Nancy J. (Smylie) Timmins, 85, of Hudson, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of 38 years to the late J. Allen Timmins, who died in 1992.
Born and raised in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Elizabeth (Skinnick) Smylie.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ann and John O’Connor of Wareham, along with her loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Donald J. MacLennan.
A calling hour will be held Friday, March 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a service and celebration of Nancy’s life at 12:30 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St. of Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Saint Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
