Region – The second annual Golf Tournament to support the Lizzi Marriott Intrepid Explorer Scholarship will be held Friday, June 26, at Juniper Hills Golf Course, 202 Brigham St., Northborough. The scholarship, established in Lizzi Marriot’s memory after her death in October 2012, is granted to students pursuing a degree in marine sciences. Last year, two scholarships of $2,500 each were awarded to candidates from the University of New Hampshire (UNH). Preference for the scholarship is given to Westborough High School students, UNH students and volunteers at the New England Aquarium.
