Marlborough – Dora R. (Toupin) Sora, 90, of Marlborough, died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Reservoir Center. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Sora, who died in 2005.
Dora was born, raised, and educated in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine (Jusseaume) Toupin. She was a secretary at Frye Boot for many years.
Dora enjoyed bingo, reading, and watching TV game shows, including her favorites, The Price is Price, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy.
She leaves two daughters, Donna M. Collins of Marlborough and Jacqueline Bryn and her husband Stan of Socorro, N.M.; a sister, Marion Costanza of Marlborough; her grandchildren, Stephen, David, Kenneth, Kathy, Brenda, Jennifer, Marie, Debbie, and the late Christopher Collins; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Easton, Jacoby, Liam, J.J., Jay, Jarod, Julia and Skylar Rose; and her lifelong friend, Fay (Collings) Gregoire of Marlborough.
Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
