Marlborough – Nancy A. (Caliendo) Hutchinson, 62, formerly of Stow, died Friday, April 3, 2015 at Marlborough Hills HealthCare Center. She died peacefully in the presence of her children, who showed their loving support as they had throughout her illness.
Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore A. and Rose Marie (Denardo) Caliendo. She had been the former wife of Thomas W. Hutchinson of North Grafton.
Raised in Somerville, Nancy had unconditional love for her three children. Her giving nature could be found in all she did. She donated her time not only to the elderly, but wherever her talents were useful. She volunteered at Emerson Hospital and was active with the Meals on Wheels Program.
She loved the beach, and had a passion for cooking. Happiest when surrounded by others, she never missed the chance to cook her Italian specialties for friends and family.
Besides her former husband, she is survived by her sons, T. Gerald Hutchinson of Brighton, Utah and Wesley H. Hutchinson and Rachel of South Grafton; her daughter, Heather Hutchinson Gutierrez and her husband William of Framingham; her brother, Joseph Caliendo and his wife Kathy of Tewksbury; and her grandchildren, Natalia and Gabriel T. Gutierrez, Brayden Hutchinson, and Connor and Ella Nieminen.
There are no funeral home visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 8, at 9 a.m., at St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Rd., Framingham. Arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home of Marlborough.
